Glitchy sounds.

Hi there, the names jack - hope yer all doing well :)

Quick question:

I'm currently capturing a film shot on the canon xl1s with a 1ccd camera (Canon MV300) onto adobe premier 7. At first everything was going smoothly, until when I played it back I realised that there is this horrible, sharp, glitchy, electronic noise accompayning every jump in sound (and even when it aint particularly loud). I hadnt imagined there would be a problem capturing from a 1ccd camera - although I did shoot this with an external mike (seinheiser me66) way beyond the capacaties of the 1ccd on board mike. Is that why its doing this? Is there anyway to solve this problem, or do I need to find a 3ccd camera to capture off? Can it be any 3ccd camera?

Thanks for your help! Jack :)
