5.1 Sound card for editing

I searched this topic and found the last posting was in 2005.

In it, Sound Blaster Audigy cards were not considered good quality. anyone know if that's changed? or are the new SB X-fi cards the way to go??

Thnx

There was a thread last week that mentioned the new Creative Emu cards. Might be what you are looking for.
