Premire 6.5 freezes after capture
Hi, After captureing on Premire. It Either freezes or goes really sluggish. I have a Gl2 and adobe is set onto gl1a device 2.0 and I have a P3 1.6 GHZ 512 ram 40 gigs and Im captureing with pyro card. Any sugestions would be welcome

What OS are you using? Do you have DMA enabled?

Hey Tim! After you capture from your GL2, unplug your camcorder from the firewire port. I had this same problem with a 2.4 gigahertz p4 and a gig of RDRAM running Win XP. After I captured with my panasonic pv-dv852, Premiere was really sluggish. Then I unplugged my camera from the firewire and it went back to normal. Let me know if that helps.
