Can After Effects 6.5 import PrPro 2.0 project?
I keep getting an aegp error, with "corrupt project or wrong version number" when importing PrPro 2.0 project into AE 6.5. I cannot see Adobe not making their products backwards (forwards) compatible.
AE 6.5 imports PrPro 1.5 project perfectly. PrPro 2.0 was installed after AE 6.5 for the import plugins, etc. |

Most products are not forward compatible. So if PPRO 2.0 is newer than AE 6.5
I would not expect you are able to read those project files. I've been a bit out of the loop on all the Adobe version numbers lately, so I'm not sure what the "proper" order for support is at the moment. Anyone know for sure?

Thanks Rob. It makes sense for Adobe to do things this way for Adobe, but upgraded to AE 7 and it is a worthwhile upgrade, slick interface like PrPro 2 (In my opinion the interface alone is worth the $199 upgrade in PrPro, the interface has streamlined my workflow) and AE 7 just seems much more responsive and intuitive than 6.5.
