500GB Western Digital External for $280, any good?
Got this from Buy.com, anybody have any experience with this model? I've had good luck with Western Digital drives for the most part.

I don't purchase external drives anymore. I just purchase internal hard drives when they are on sale and HDD enclosures like these http://www.supergooddeal.com/category_s/17.htm
I save quite a bit of money and get the same great performance. |

I usually get my drives from pcmicrostore.com and have assembled them myself, but even for just the 500GB drive without enclosure, that price is awefully good.
