Best laptop for DV Rack
Hi all,
I'm in the market for a new laptop computer and might use it to run DV Rack for my VX2100's when setting up a shot for color, contrast and for recording a backup sound file from my mix pre. I got a free copy of DV Rack when I ordered my last Sony VX2100. I thought about getting a Video monitor for like 1500 dollars but need a notebook to do other things and thought I might be able to get by with a good notebook display. Anyone know what the best brand of computer for screen appearance. I already know that I am going to get a 2ghz processor and 2 gigs of ram, but all notebooks are not the same on their LCD appearance for video. I was looking into a Dell XPS notebook but saw bad reviews on the screen as it is glossy and many people stated that it would not be the best notebook to use for video editing or monitoring in my case. Thanks in advance for anyone's opinion on the best LCD display between Sony, Toshiba ect for their current models that are out now. |

I've decided possibly on getting the new Toshiba with the new Intel Core Duo Processor T2400. Anyone know if DV Rack works with a dual prossesor or if Adobe Premier works with it. I also have Vegas and Sound Forge. I would hate to get a none pentium intel processor only to find out that none of my programs will work on it.
