Canon XL1-S Firewire

Hi! I have problems with my firewire. How do you export video from Adobe Premiere 6.0 to the XL1-S using firewire? I found out that it only works with I preview it in Premiere. Also when I do this, the audio is not in sync with the video, the video looks different (it doesn't move like the regular video...looks like it has a different frame speed, and it is darker and jerky.

This sounds more like a problem with your computer specs than the camera.
Post details of specs.
