Article on PC -vs- MAC
This settles it for me <;~)
Notice one of the laptops they use in the test is the one I recommended to someone in a post a few weeks back. ehem- ehem http://www.robgalbraith.com/diginews..._07_macpc.html

poor comparison
I was dissapointed with that article, a huge bottle neck in a system is usually the i/o throughput, and comparing a 5400 laptop HD to a 7200 desktop HD is not really far, then the other two computers were way out of each other spec's as well, all in all it was quite worthless to read.

yea......
I respect your opinion, but in the end the numbers talk.
Dual MAC CPU's in applications where they are setup to utilize them (e.g Photoshop), could have overcome the P4 regardless of the spin/pickup speed in the HD's......if they had the horsepower. Again, no offense, beacuse everyone is entitled to their opinion, and on top of that.....I didn't intend to start the 400'th Ford versus Chevy thread on this board.

An informative link, so thanks. Still, this thread has nowhere to go but a platform war. Hope nobody minds if it's locked.
