Screen Capture Software
I do a lot of corporate videos and finally got one where they'd like to integrate the software training with their presentation. I've found a lot of capture programs that convert to wmv but are there any that capture as avi? I would assume that since that is what my camera is recording as that to edit the two together I would need to capture the computer screen as that as well. Thanks for the responses.

Perhaps one of the products listed here will help?

Camtasia Studio is very popular for training videos. Check it out here:
http://www.techsmith.com/camtasia.asp It's also got a ton of editing features with it, so it's like a screen recorder on steroids. You probably don't need all the editing features, but at $299 it's not a bad deal. I played with a program a couple weeks ago that captured in .avi, but I can't remember what it was. It was about $49. I'll post the link as soon as I remember the name. EDIT: Here's the link to the other capture software I referred to: http://www.riverpast.com/en/prod/scr...r/features.php |
