Making "Green Room" Your Resources and Tips please at DVinfo.net

I am going to ad a new demention to my video production business, "Green Room" in the garage. I plan on getting the color down with paint but this will be the first time for me chroma keying and I want to get it very right!

1. Lighting
The coloring of the room is easy but the lighting is the key piont here and I gratefully ask if you could please let me know some teaching websites, books, and or tips and experience you have setting up the lighting (even maker/amount/type of lights I should buy).

2. Software
I was planning on using Vegas 6 with Ultra 2 but was wondering if Ultra 2 is overkill? Since the Green Room will be a controlled atmosphere/set studio do you think Vegas itself will be able to pull a clean key? I do need a very clean key. AND... as I was checking out Ultra 2 at their website, I noticed Visual Communicator 2 and its "PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND REPLACEMENT" for a quick and easy and LIVE keying tool. Has anyone used this?
