Flickering removal!!

I have to edit some material that has some kind of strong flickering (maybe PAL - U.S.A. lamps frequence issue).
We are editing with an Avid Xpress Pro. The question is how can I remove or improve this pictures with this stong flickering in the postproduction?

I read something about the FlickerFiX plug in from 3Prong but I still did not try it.

Do anyone have some experience with this plug in?

or with others?

any other idea/link about flickering removal?

thank you in advance.
