G-Drive issues
My computer froze and had to do a hard reset, at the time I had my g-drive connected via e-sata.
Now the drive won't mount at all on the Mac, or be recognized in Disc Utility. I tried all ports usb/firewire, nothing. On Windows it will recognize the drive but just as "Local Disk" and the letter (previous drive name is gone). If you click on it you get "Disc structure is corrupted and unreadable". in disc management , it says the partition is healthy but it is now in RAW format (was HFS). Any ideas on how to fix the disc or programs to back up the data would be greatly appreciated. Thank you |

Re: G-Drive issues
I had some issues the other day with a drive and Disk Warrior (for Mac) seemed to do the trick by rebuilding the drive directory. Perhaps there's something similar for windows?
