A gent at work here found a Linux video editing software app. Some may already know of it, sorry for reposting if so.

I attempted to run Cinelerra on my linux machine, but you must have to be pretty knowledgeable about linux to get it to run. As a linux noob it's beyond what I could handle.

Another Linux editor I've been keeping my eye on is Jahshaka. Definately still in development mode but i would be interested in someone giving it a play and reporting back on how it's progressing.
