Will the following Fujitsu work station be adequate to edit AVCHD files?

I can tell you that a single hard disk is not enough to run any decent video editing program to anyone's satisfaction. You need at least two additional internal 7200 RPM hard disks in order to use a decent NLE properly.
Other than that, the Quadro 2000 is a waste of money: Hardware-wise, it is nothing more than an underclocked GeForce GTS 450. However, while the GTS 450 (now superceded by the GTX 550 Ti) is basically a $100 GPU, the Quadro 2000 costs $400. |

Randall thanks for your reply and you are right about having two additional hard drives but I have these on my PC now that I am planning to replace. As far as the Quadro 2000 the reason that I like it is for the low noise only 26db. How noisy is the GeForce GTS 450?
