Sample clip!
Just got my cam in and took a short sample clip with it at a shutter speed of 1000 and ND 1.... stock hood, no filters, no sound.
http://www.abnaconsulting.com/testing1.avi (60MB) Question... why does the monitor window in my NLE (premiere pro) play the clip very washed out compared to windows media player? Looks like there's about -50% saturation in PP. I must be overlooking something. Is PP simulating what it will look like on a tv or something? Edit: Stupid me... use overlays was on in WMP... booo! You can control overlay parameters through your video card driver. If you have ATI go to Display Settings/Advanced/Overlay. There is contrast, gamma etc. settings.
I prefer to use overlays since I can control video settings separately from my Windows settings. |
