Capturing a Still Image from Video
Hi,
I was wondering if anyone knew how to capture a still image (jpg or any other format) from an avi file. Or if I could export one frame in a still image format, this would be essentially the same thing. I have Premiere 6 and Adobe Photoshop elements. Any help on this would be greatly appricated. Thanks!

Hi,
Thanks for reading my post, however, I figured it out. I was just overlooking a very obvious thing it the file menu. Thanks!

For anyone else that might have a similiar question. When you
have your project in Premiere, position your movie at the point that you want to take an export off. Now go down in the file menu, export timeline and select frame. Now you can select a fileformat to save in (make sure you select a lossless format (like BMP, targa) if you plan on using it in any other program after Premiere. Otherwise just select JPEG if your output is for web or e-mail etc.) and you're done!
