Hope some one can give advice
I plan on doing some event editing for some extra money, and am thinking of upgrading my computer, and getting some software

1Gb to 2GB
add 200 GB to my computer which already has 200GB

Software:
Avid Xpress Pro w Mojo
Sonic Reel DVD
10 Jump backs

I know you probably think that avid may be too much for a party, but I also want to pursue editing as a career, and thought that getting avid now will give me time to learn

Thanks

Kav,

Avid Xpress Pro HD already comes with Sonic ReelDVD LE, so you won't need to purchase that separately. It also includes several other programs. See http://www.avid.com/products/xpresspro/thirdparty.asp.
