On monitors with both RCA and S-video connections, I do see a difference in resolution. Sony PVM-1354Q (1995 era, high-end NTSC monitor), Commodore monitors.

It might just be how the connections are implemented in the equipment though.

Canopus ADVC 100

Hi,
