Capturing problems at DVinfo.net

Hi

I have recently purchased a new PC - P4 3ghz with Gigabyte MB (GA-81915P Duo PRO) & GeFORCE 6600 & 120gb HD. Have Firewire cable connected from Sony TRV22E camcorder to built in firewire card/port on back of PC & editing w/ Adobe 6.5. When capturing, the video plays back fine on the LCD of the camcorder but in the "Movie Capture" window of Premiere, the video is just a mixture of green, turquoise and purple horizontal flickers and flashes and no picture. Interestingly when I load Adobe Premiere Pro, this works fine but I am still curious why 6.5 doesn't work properly. B/TW .... it worked fine on my old PC.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Problem resolved ....... graphics card driver uninstalled (nVIDIA) and then reinstalled from an updated driver on website.
