avi DV or quicktime photo-JPG? Which is best?
Hello everyone.
What is the best choice for quality purpouses? Just before i encode a dvd i want the best quality as posible, but i cannot render the project in avi uncompressed. So as far as i have tested this are the two best options for me. I do not want to render an mpeg2 file yet, becaise i will have to change the audio later and some things. SO is the quicktime photo-jpg compressor setted at 100, better than standard DV? thanks |

Quicktime PhotoJPEG100% is superior to DV in every way. It is also, in some ways, better than some uncompressed 4:2:2 formats as it's 4:4:4! I've used it for a DVD authoring intermediary and it worked very well indeed.
