I took the plunge on Friday and bought a Toshiba Satellite P10-610, with XP Media Centre. I'm still getting it set up, and having problems keeping the WiFi network connected, and with a recent power state failure blue screen I'm working on disappearing, but at this point I'm glad to have it. I tried Premiere 6.5 on it earlier today, but only with existing files from a DVD-R. Haven't tried to capture to it nor hooked up my firewire external HDD. All in good time. Thanks for all the input.
