Fade to white.....Studio 8/9

Hi guys....

Does anyone know of a way to "fade to white" using either Pinnacle Studio 8 or 9 ?

There are loads of stock fades with both apps, but none that does the "flash" or fade to white (instead of black) !

Any ideas.....or can I create the effect using Hollywood fx..?

Any ideas gratefully received...!!

Many thanks

Nick

I can't tell you specifically how to do it in Pinnacle but generally it's done by just fading to a white matte.

Hi Nick,

To create a white matte you can use the inbuilt titling program, just draw a white box that fills the whole screen. Then add a dissolve from your clip to the 'white' title.

See whether that works?
