Software solution to fix wide-angle distortion in post? at DVinfo.net

Is there a utility or a plug-in (AviSynth even) available to fix distortion (barrelling) due to a wide-angle adapter? I've seen some plug-ins - free even - for Photoshop that gave amazing results, but nothing for video, unless I export every image and work with scripts.

Any suggestions?

Don't know about free, but I've successfully used the Lens correction plugin in NewBlue Fx Video Essentials II. I have a .5x Raynox which barrells a slight bit.
