Premiere P2 mxf files to Avid

Me and some other premiere users have a problem with the P2 files that premiere exports. AVID just do not recognize them. If we try to export to p2 card - they can be played back on the p2 camera or p2 players. What is it with avid and the premiere mxf files. Do they have a codec that avid dont know or what could the possible reason be. It's a big problem because all the broadcasters in Denmark finally have switched to P2 and premiere users, like me, have to convert to quicktime and put in on an USB stick and then let AVID import that - to make it work.
