Mediacoder help

Hi again,

I am still experimenting with the best way to create the best workflow and final DVD output. I have a small question about Mediacoder. I am trying to convert an AVI file into a DVD compatable format so Encore does not try to re-encode the material. I've been researching on the Web and some versions have a tab called extensions to the right of the Start tab. And one or two other tabs that my version does not. I am using version 0.7.0.4399. What version should I use or do I need to set it up. The computer I use for editing I don't want to connect to the internet so maybe that is my problem. I am going to install Mediacoder on my other computer as a test.

Also, I don't see the section where to adjust the VBR settings?

Thanks,

John Gerard
