DV footage - NO SOUND - HELP
A friend of mine is having problems with his raw DV files captured from his camera.
There is NO audio when he plays back the file in Windows Media Player 9, but if he plays back the file in Vegas Video, there IS audio. Any idea on what would have caused this and what he can do to fix it? |

Jeff,
Does WMP 9 play any files with audio...say something rendered off the Vegas timeline? If not, he may have muted the audio. Have him check if the speaker down on the bottom of the player is greyed out or if the volume slider is full left. |

He hasn't evened edited the video at all.
Just the straight AVI file that is captured has no sound. It seems to be all DV-AVI footage captured with any software. A Divx avi plays fine with audio. |
