Thanx Rob,
I think you didn't understand me .... ... when I import uncompressed avi in Premiere, I have no picture on timeline ( all frames display as black ), just wanted to export (recompress) this uncompressed avi to avi with dv codec to be able to preview it on video monitor. Maybe this is a project settings issue - it is very bad if I cant import uncompreesed avi in dv project hmh .... that can be done in earlier versions of Premiere. Regards Darko |

It looks like I did indeed. My appologies.
That sounds worrying indeed. Perhaps you and others can do some tests with this? I don't have Premiere Pro. Perhaps it can only read uncompressed when the project settings are not DV?
