Color picker is Free
This comes recommended by some folks on the Canopus Forum
http://www.iconico.com/colorpic/ Being free has some appeal. It is said to allow you to pick a number of colors with ease. Steep learning curve they say.

I can't imagine how you can have a steep learning curve with
something as a colo(u)r picker. It just allows you to see what the number is for a particular color. In this case it offers some features to help you to pick the color you want. The samething can be done with any decent photo package that supports a screengrab function. Grab the screen, zoom in and switch to the color picker and done you are. This application is just a small (and thus probably very fast) thing for just that function and nothing more. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. Might come in very handy in my line of work.
