sound capturing problems
Hi there
Here is one problem that I ran into: When I record (with a Sony PDX-10) with 2 mics, the sound on the 2 tracks is perfect when I play the tape on the deck. When I capture the footage in Premiere and drag the piece from the Project window into the Timeline window, ONLY TRACK 1 CAN BE HEARD (i.e mic #1). The second mic/track is not there at all. Remember that on the tape played on the deck both tracks/mics sound perfect. Any suggestion? Have a great weekend, Raul

I do know that a lot of capture and NLE application cannot
correctly work with 4 track audio coming from the camera. Which version of Premiere are you using? Go over every setting to see if you can somehow get Premiere into 4 track mode. Otherwise look at Scenalyzer (you can try out the demo) to do capturing for you. It should work with 4 track DV audio without problems.
