LCD for video editing question

I am trying to compare the Dell 1702FP Flat Panel monitor to the NEC MultiSync LCD1760NX. Does anyone know how they compare for video editing purposes? For moderate gaming?

Hi Stephen,

I think I use 2 Dell 1702FP, although not being at my editing desk I can't tell.

They are fine for video editing, although one has a more redish tone to it than the other one - After a bit of colour correcting they seem a pretty good match. Other than that I can't really fault them.

All the best,

Ed

Thanks, Ed.

Do you have just the Dell, or are you also referring to the NEC?

Stephen,

I was refering to the Dells - they came with the Dell system I ordered.

As I understand it they are re-branded Samsung monitors?

Cheers,

Ed
