Stupid Capture Question
Long story, short question:
Is there any potential problem using a Canon GL2 to playback DV tapes made on a DVX100? My DVX is giving me problems with audio playback--the GL2 plays them no problem. But I was wondering if there were any issues I should be aware of. I don't see why there would be, but... Thanks in advance DVMonks! Kurt |

No, playing back tapes from other camera's isn't a problem. Mixing
tape brands can be a problem because of different chemicals used in the tapes. This can dirty up your heads faster and result in some other weird stuff with playback.

If you record in LP mode tapes won't interchange between decks/cameras well. However, you shouldn't be recording in LP mode in the first place...
