A solution to delay video by 3 minutes? On location? HVX 200a?
I'm shooting a cheerleading competition and one of the requirements is to have a delayed feed to the judges table by about 3 minutes so they can review the last performance. Does anybody have a simple solution to do that?
Someone recommended some consumer DVD recorders have a delay feature, but I find it hard to believe that with a laptop and some piece of software I cant do the same thing. I have on location, premiere pro, ect. I have a laptop I can sit at the judges table and feed a HDV (XH-A1) or DV signal to I just need a way to delay it.....this needs to be a set and walk away solution as well as I might not be at the camera to watch it all the time. |

Take a look at ‘Enosoft DV Processor’. There is ‘Time Delay’ function in there. You may need to chain more than one PC (all depends on amount of free memory in the system), but according to the description you should be able to do it.
