DV to SVCD at DVinfo.net

Hi

Does anyone know the compression ration from DV format to SVCD (MPEG2)?
If I capture, say 10GB of video to my PC and then convert this to SVCD, what size would the video file be? Also is the compression the same if you convert it DVD?
