auto-render..
i have used preiere for years now and just got a demo of vegas to play with..
neither seem to have auto-rendering.. i'm not sure if this is a common thing.. i have a friend who edits basic stuff on a mac using imovie, and whenever she is working on a video, it automaticlally renders all teh new stuff you add in while you're working.. can premiere or vegas do these? thanks for the help.. |

im pretty sure Premiere up to 6.5 doesnt have it, Premiere Pro might have it..when it comes out. You could try Pinnacle Edition 5......If renders in real time, although you need a fast system. If you have a good graphics card (basically any nvidia geforce or ati radeon) over 64mb, it can render everything in pretty much RT, automatically. http://www.guygraphics.com/reviews/editionpro5.html

The only place where I have seen auto render and rendering in the background is the Pinnacle liquid range and Incite each costing rather a lot.
All the best, Ed
