Though you truly need a second large HD for serious editing it is a good idea to start off in the right direction and work through your material compiling a list of footage you want to keep for a first edit.Once you do this you will have much less to work with and it will be the material you need rather than all the footage you shot.Best to learn the correct way from the get go IMO
