Windows Movie maker: How to cut two cams whilst keeping one cams audio track??
Hi guys, I am currently in the proccess of capturing all the video I shot of a friends wedding.
Whilst I have purchased vegas movie studio 8 platinum, I reckon it will take too long to learn as my friend wants a finished dvd pretty quilckly. So im going to use Windows movie maker. Ive never done any NLE editing before, so im using this wedding video to 'cut my teeth on'. My question is, during the ceremony I want to cut between two cameras (cam A and CamB). Thats no problem. BUT whislt I make the cut to cam B, I want to have the audio from cam A continue (ie one continuous audi track from cam A throughout). Movie maker only lets me have one video with audio track, and one audio/music track. So when I import cam Bs footage and make my cuts with cam A, the audio will switch between cam A and Cam B. Is there a way to have only cam A's audio throughout?? Many thaks guys James |

Sorry guys it was a really dumb question, and ive worked it out now!
For anyone who might want to know, you simply drag the audio down to the music time line. The video will dissapear, then you simply re-import your video into the video time line. You will now have one video track and two audio tracks. You then simply mix the balance in favour of the master track! Sorry again guys! Jim |
