Wiring decks/monitor

Im trying to figure out the best way to wire my decks and camera into the computer so it requires as little work as possible each time I want to capture from another source. I'm going to have 3 sources (VHS, DVD, and MiniDV from firewire). I use a cheap camera to convert analog (RCA's) to digital (firewire into the NLE). That also serves as the opposite, to convert back out of the NLE to the monitor for editing. I want to be able to input or output to any deck, while previewing on the monitor. What's the best way to do that? How do you guys have your decks/monitor/NLE wired? Thanks!
