Capture problem
Whenever I turned my XM2 on (connected via firewire) the computer would recognise it, and I could preview it in Win explorer (XP) or capture in video vegas 4.0. Now, however the computer still recognises it, but when I try and preview or capture it says can't open device, could be in use errors.
Nothing else is loaded. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks |

Found out what it was. I had been trying to encode my video files to DivX, and has way too many codecs installed which must have corrupted something. I re-installed Windows and it works fine now.

Actually you haven't found what the problem was I think. You
simply cured it by re-installing....

Well, video capture was working, installed many vid codecs to encode vid files stored on my PC. Try capture again, not working.
