I Often forget to choose White balance ...
Hi,
Having a speedy 9 months old daughter gets on your mind ;-) So alas, I often forget to choose the correct WB on my cam before shooting. Intersted to hear if someone here has "profiles" for Vegas or Aftereffects that can "fix" an indoors shot filmed with outdoors setting and vice versa? I know that I can use the color correctors in VEGAS - but it is always nice to have a staring point, like a predefined profile. Have a good weekend! Best regards, Lazze Sweden

Try BillyBoy on the Veag Forum - He might have a few ideas about colour correction.

Yeah, I've done this before. I didn't use the color correction tools in vegas, rather the color curves...it helped....just mess around with each color in the color curves.
White balancing is important though. I ALWAYS manual WB... |

Alex,
I wish I had the time ;-) Most often when I film I hear "Lasse, come, she is standing by herself now" ... then I got about 3 seconds to bring the camera up to bearing and shoot ... I also shoot planned projects where I mix real video with 3D gfx - then I take good care of WB and lightning // Lazze
