choosing a screen
i need a good monitor for nle.
although the matrox g550 supports dual monitors, right now i only have the budget for one. the question is WHICH ONE? i'm not sure if 17" or 19" yet. definately not LCD. any suggestions? budget: $250 more or less. |

I think I paid about $250 for a nice 21" Viewsonic monitor. This is my second one, and I like them.

actually, i would really want to stay within the $200 limit if possible. 19" is good enough for me.
i need specific models please. i imagine viewsonic have different models which differ in quality as well. thanks for the quick reply. |

I have a 17" MAG that I bought from bestbuy for like $100 or something, it was actually much more but there was a big rebate, i'd rather not buy a monitor online, because of the shipping rates. It's quite a nice monitor, better then I expected, it's very very sharp...sometimes it seems to be too sharp...

I'm a big fan of ViewSonics as well. Better clarity and color than SONY monitors and no annoying vertical hold filaments running through them like the Trinitron monitors.
