Best way to shoot timelapse in HD with D90 Nikon

could u gimme suggestions on the best mode to shoot timelapse with my d90? thx a lot |

I went to a store few hours ago and the owner told me that the best way is to buy a kind of remote that should be connected either to pc or the D90.
What do u think about that? thx |

If you want to shoot timelapse with your D90 and it doesn't have an internal control for interval then you will want to get an external control. I recommend something like this although I haven't used this one TRC-M Timer Remote Control for Nikon D90 and D5000 fully compatible with MC-DC2 - B001QSG4R8 - Buy.com as opposed to a computer for field work. If you are inside and near power then a computer might be what you want.
