I have the D40 and I am thinking of upgrading to this camera.

Very nice review.
What video camera did you use? It clearly bests the D90 video.

We shot the footage on a Canon XH A1 but the three sample movie clips were shot with the Nikon D90 and 18-105mm lens. All the stills were shot with the D90 and 18-105mm lens.
Overall the D90 is an excellent camera, I liked it a lot especially with still images. Although as mentioned, I was dissapointed with the video mode. However, I think I could use small clips in an actual production especially if I wanted a limited DOF effect. |
