Nexto DI, which one
I see that CD reccomends the Nexto DI Extreme for mobile storage. Has anyone used this system? Any problems?
I notice that Nexto DI has a bunch of different disigns, includeing a new video version. It appears the only difference in the video ones, besides the price, is that it takes P2 cards and SxS cards. Since we are using CF cards there is no reason to spend the extra money, correct? Thanks for the help. |

Dear Sean,
We recommend the Nexto DI eXtreme Nd-2700. It comes in multiple hard disk drive capacities. Some retailers usually sell this for $129 without a Hard Disk Drive, which you can add yourself. If you can get one without the HDD, just purchase a quality 500 GB SATA-II Laptop HDD for under $100 and add it to the Nexto DI. At this moment, our usually source appears to be out of them.

We normally purchase these via a web based retailer (which is not a sponsor of DVInfo.net).
But, at this time, they do not show it on their website. I assume that they are out of stock. I will check back repeatedly and report back when they are in stock. There may have been a large spike in demand. The Nexto DI 2700 with a 500 GB hard drive is currrently available at B&H. Nexto DI | Nexto eXtreme (500GB) | ND270500G | B&H Photo Video
