Shaking camera in Vegas 8?
I am looking for a way to create a realistic camera shake in vegas 8 - are they any scripts handy? I know I could use the tried and true pan and move it slightly each frame, but was looking for something more robust...

Check out NewBlueFX. They have a plugin that will absolutely do the trick for you.

The NewBlue package Don referenced is "Motion Effects" It will do exactly what you want.
There was a script at one time but the installer was hard coded for Vegas 5 and the developer of that script is no longer around. Now the only way to "install" is to have the files already broken out and I don't know if it still works with all versions anyway.

Although Mercalli from ProDad is designed to smooth out camera shake it comes with an add-on package that allows you to create the impression of camera (or subject) shake.

Just now I happened on YouTube | How to add a Shake Effect in Sony Vegas. Maybe that will help, and you do not need any scripts or plug-ins for it.
