Disaster! Audio and video out of sync!
After taking some scenery videos with my new HD1, I finally took a video of myself talking, at 1280x720/30fps. The video played back fine on the HD1 itself. But when I copied it to my computer, I found to my dismay that the audio was seriously out of sync with the video, using both Nero Showtime (which is just a player) and Ulead VideoStudio 10 Plus (which, more importantly, is what I was going to use to edit, make DVDs, etc.).
So what video players can actually play back HD1 video correctly? And what video editors can edit HD1 video correctly? |

I partly solved the problem
1) I didn't realize that on this particular computer, I still had Nero 6.x. When I downloaded the latest Nero 7.2.7.0, Nero Showtime was able to play the videos quite nicely.
2) On a faster computer, VideoStudio 10 Plus was able to keep video and audio in sync. Nevertheless, the program should be smart enough never to get out of sync. If necessary, it should slow down both video and audio equally. |
