what is HD1's pixel aspect ratio?
Opening a new project in Vegas, it wants to know pixel aspect ratio?
The default is 1.0000 (square). There is also 0.9091 (NTSC DV), 1.2121 (NTSC DV Widescreen), 1.0926 (PAL DV), 1.4568 (PAL DV WIdescreen), 0.9132 (NTSC Video CD), 1.0921 (PAL Video CD), 1.3333 (HDV 1080). It doesn't seem to be any of these other options, so should I leave it at the default of 1.0000 (square)? Thanks.

Playing one of my videos on my laptop, the 1280X720 pixel content is reproduced correctly as 1280X720 pixel video on screen (confirmed with screen calipers). If the pixels were not square, video displayed at a 1:1 pixel output ratio (above) would appear stretched.

As noted by others, if you are shooting HD 1280 X 720P, they are square=1.0. When shooting DV for NTSC Widescreen, for example for DVD, it is 1.212. I haven't tried the Sanyo HD1 in standard definition, so I'm not sure what you would do in that case.
