No Flash With Wide Angle
Anyone eagerly awaiting the HD1 Wide Angle adapter should know that it will probably block most of the flash. I am using an older Wide Angle adapter that fits over the lens as the Sanyo one does, and it casts a big shadow when I use the flash. The Sanyo adapter is substantially bigger than mine, so it presumably casts an even bigger shadow.
I guess I'll have to figure out something that fits inside the lens (which doesn't have threads). Or use a slave flash. |

Figuring out something to fit inside the lens means trying to increase angle of view while decreasing diameter and increasing length. It might be possible, but I suspect vignetting will become a problem. Using a slave as a bounce flash will probably be more effective.

Has anyone tried a slave with this camera? I'm wondering if it exposes properly in auto mode, or if we end up having to set everything manually. If the automatic setting won't work, much of the utility of a bounce flash is removed.
