is this monopod/tripod too good of a deal to be true?

http://cgi.ebay.com/Kodak-60-Monopod...QQcmdZViewItem

is this better than getting an extended monopod that i can prop on the ground? im using it for weddings mostly. i want to have the versatility to be able to move around when i need to, but also to be able to stay in one spot and rest.
