How do you go about grading GoPro's Protune w/Native WB? at DVinfo.net

I think the GoPro Color looks more like what I want than my grading. I've only had mild success thus far with FCP X using a stack of effects for:
Vibrancy
Color Board - Exposure, Saturation, Color
Color Mask - skin tones
Sharpen

In the example below, both were shot in Protune without a polarizer. The GoPro Color example used Auto WB. The Graded example used Color OFF and Native WB. How do you go about grading the Protune/Native WB to get sky and skin tones to look good?
