How do you clean your GoPro lens
I take my Go Pro out to the beach, then want to shoot stuff not in the water. I have tried to wipe the lens with my finger, but it looks bad. Any ideas on what to carry while I am in the water?
Thanks Ken |

Re: How do you clean your GoPro lens
On the water, housing is wet: Lick the lens. Classic trick. Totally works. Rinsing with spritz of fresh water afterwards sometimes finishes the job.
Off the water, housing is dry: Kimwipes or microfiber cloth. (technically, I assume your question is about cleaning the lens HOUSING, not the lens on the camera itself - for that I use Kimwipes and Clarity cleaner from Filmtools)

Treat the lens with Rain-X.
To clear the water droplets just blow on the lens.

Re: How do you clean your GoPro lens
Thanks guys, I will just lick it. Why I did not think of this is beyond me. I have spent half my life in the water.
